Up for auction is a STUNNING 1934 Ford Roadster. This is a very well built high end hot rod with no compromiseon quality. You will be hard pressed to find a street rod with thisdetail and quality anywhere! For starts, yes this car is titled as a 34ford so historic plates and collector insurance can be used. I trulydon't know where to start with describing this one. The car was builtwith top quality components and the best of everything, even all thehardware is stainless steel! This was close to a $70,000 build and thecar was built with the purpose of being sold at Barrett Jackson (henceall the detail and amazing under body). Unfortunately due to illness inthe family of the builder/owner, the car never made the trip to theauction block. The car was built in 2012, and other thana magazine photo shoot it really hasn't been driven. There are reallyonly150 actual miles on this vehicle. Yes, that is ONE HUNDRED ANDFIFTY MILES!!! The car has never been registered or titled until justthis year! It was just a gem tucked away in the builders garage, forhis eyes and pleasure only. Now for the first time, thiselegant show piece for sale to the general public . With a brief history of the car out of the way, lets get intosome of the details. The body is a customized FiberFab body, and isamongst the strongest and most solid bodies money can buy. Prior tobeing built a 220lb plus man stood on the fender of this car and itdidn't budge! No wood reinforcement like cheaper bodies have. Allsupports and reinforcements are steel. The chassis was customfabricated and engineered to handle up to 700hp (at this point in thebuild it wasn't yet determined how radical the engine would be). Thecars power plant is a blueprinted 350ci Chevy that is bulletproof. Themotor ended up being quite mild with 350hp, however was built to have a150hp shot of nitrous oxide. After testing the car with the motor in,prior to being completed, the decision was made to leave the nitrous offas it could always be added later down the road. The 350hp this carhas can move this 2600lb beauty very fast and its a realpleasure to drive and cruise. The motor has 8.5 to 1 compression, flattop pistons, Crane cam, and a single Edelbrock 4bbl carb. The trans isa TCI turbo 400 backed by a Ford 8 1/2 rear end and 355 gears. Thiscar handles, runs, and shifts beautifully. The body is painted with acustom blended 1993 corvette ruby red with 10% additional black and 10%pearl added to the standard mix. The hood and detail around the cabinis painted in gloss black. It really has a highend, classy, elegance to it. It plain and simple works fantastically on thiscar and shows beautifully. The driver seat is power leather and they look great with imperfections. Ididit chrome tiltsteering, and beautiful white face gauges. The roll bar is real, itconnects to the frame and is made from high strength Chrome Alloy steel. The wheelie bars are just for show, but they look great on the car andthe extra chrome is pleasing to look at. The running boards have custommachined step plates on them. To be a bit different from the crowd, the engine compartment was done with silver metal flake rather thanbeing painted as the body. This really looks good in person, andeveryone I have shown the car to complemented this detail. Theunder body of this car is really a show piece on its own. Everything ispainted to match the body or done in chrome. With exception of this 34,I have never owned a car that looked anything close to thisunderneath. The detail is superb, and if you plan to show this vehicle Ihighly suggest you invest in some mirrors and maybe some ramps to showoff the under side. Another really neat touch is the exhaust. The carhas cut outs that dump under the running boards as well as full tailpipes that meet mufflers at the rear axle. When the dumps are closed, the car sounds like a tamed beast, not loud, but just a slightrumblethen when you push the buttons in the cab opening the sidepipes..its a new animal. It goes from tame to wild with a loud roarand deep rumble that is a melody. Not only does it functiongreat, it looks great!!! The paint is as smooth as glass, all gauges and lights work, push button start, the car is really brandnew. I could go on and on forever, and I am missing something so pleasefeel free to ask questions. All photos areunedited. The car comes with a custom Tonneau cover and chrome bumpers (if that look is preferred). The wheelies have been removed to give the car a sleeker look, but come with the sale and are very easy to reinstall.
